Deputy Manager/ Senior Deputy Manager – Sales (IEEE)

Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager to join our Plug & Socket Product Division. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in sales, experience in managing multiple projects, and the ability to nurture and grow client relationships. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and business acumen to drive sales and achieve growth objectives in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:

  • Manage sales activities across assigned territories, building and maintaining relationships with clients and channel partners.
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research and networking.
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved by converting inquiries into orders through effective communication and negotiation.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with new and existing clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Address client concerns, provide technical support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with clients to secure repeat business and maintain loyalty.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging trends in the plug and socket industry.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and market positioning to refine sales strategies.

Project and Channel Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and execution.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive product awareness, inquiries, and order conversions.
  • Maintain accurate records of projects, orders, and payment collections.

Product Knowledge and Feedback:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of plug and socket solutions and related applications.
  • Provide feedback to senior management regarding customer needs and market demands to inform product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with industrial plug and socket products, power quality solutions, and electrical automation systems.
  • Understanding of control panel systems, cable management, and switchgear applications is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics will be preferable also.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electrical or industrial product sector.
  • Proven experience working with contractors, consultants, and channel partners to close deals and manage accounts.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
